Well Michael this is really cool, probably not the first to say that. It’s what we have been waiting for. This will be a great success and game changer.
Well – I’ve just been reading about Open365 – have we really got to contend with two products aiming, as far as a cursory look goes, for the same solution?
Is this just another set of FOSS confusions to contend with?
We’re excited about every use of LibreOffice. Our approach differs – we share core iml. but are less VDI based.
Cool! Is this edition of Collabora Online open source as well? If so, under what license and where can I find the source code?
Hi! Yes, it’s all open source. You can check out the source code here: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/online. For more info, check out the CODE page 🙂 https://www.collaboraoffice.com/code/
Does Collabora Online 1.0 includes LibreOffice Base?
Hi Daniel. Sorry, no. It does not include LO Base. Currently we include Writer, Calc and Impress.
