This is the second update of Collabora Office 22.05 with bugfixes and new features.

- Content controls in Writer

In previous release support of content controls were introduced. In this release there is a new type of content controls is supported: the combo box. Now it is also possible to export forms to PDF, and content controls will be mapped to PDF form widgets. Therefore the resulting PDF form will be fillable, too. Writer now supports titles and tags for content controls, which helps providing context for the filled in text even if the placeholder text is replaced already.

Fixed SVG export of tabulators in slideshows
Better support for importing TIFF files. The internal legacy TIFF importer was replaced to the libtiff-based importer. This feature was backported from LibreOffice 7.4.

Chart data tables
Chart data table is a feature of charts, that presents in the chart area a data table with the values that are visualised by the chart. The data table is positioned automatically at the bottom of the chart, and can for certain chart types replace the X-axis labels. Read more in Tomaž Vajngerl’s blog.
Document themes in Impress: shape fill
Color themes are supported now for shape fill color, in addition to the previously implemented theme support of shape text color. Read more in Miklos Vajna’s blog.
Content controls in Writer
Writer now supports content controls: a new way to set properties on a piece of text, primarily for form filling purposes. This feature improves compatibility with the DOCX format. Plain text, rich text, checkbox, dropdown list, picture, and date picker are supported. For the interested reader, more details can be found in Miklos Vajna’s blog: 1, 2, 3.
Fixes related to embedded videos in presentation
- Impress now supports cropped videos in slide edit mode and during slideshow for documents imported from PowerPoint. (On Linux for now.) Read more in Miklos Vajna’s blog.
- Handle loop from the animation of a media shape, so videos that are set to be played in endless loop in PowerPoint are properly played in Impress, too. (tdf#149969)
